General Remarks Surgical Nurses and Technicians are vital to Operating Room procedures in that they provide direct assistance to the Surgeon and Anesthesiologist as well as indirect support on a variety of occasions, intuitively. They are plugging devices in and out, moving equipment all around and coming in and out of the OR throughout the procedure. They must remain aware of equipment status at all times while also tending to medication and supply needs. IPS Pertinent Info They must have at least a basic understanding of Isolated Power and what the various alarms and indications mean and how to react to them.
