PERSONNEL TRAINING & SEMINARS

In the case of both New Installation/New Construction and existing systems, POWERSERVE will provide Hospital Staff Instruction on Isolated Power and the Ground System.  The following points are covered:

basic Isolated Power theory

advantages of Isolated Power versus normal grounded power

the function of the Line Isolation Monitor

the need for a low impedance Ground System

proper grounding techniques using the patient ground receptacles

importance of periodic IPS testing and documentation

These sessions can range from informal to formal and can be addressed to a variety of personnel from nursing to biomedical engineering to surgeons.  Specific programs can be tailored to your needs.

Seminars are also offered to Healthcare Systems and Healthcare Engineering Associations either in a central location or remote or at Chapter meetings.
